Visitors to Babcock appreciate the wide variety of recreational facilities maintained at the park for fun and enjoyment. From hiking trails to paddleboats, there is something to suit most every taste.
*A nominal fee is charged for all recreational facilities. These are open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
Lake and BoatingPaddleboats, rowboats, and canoes are available for rent at the marina at the 19-acre Boley Lake where good fishing abounds.
There is a swimming pool at Babcock. The pool is open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from Memorial Weekend thru Labor Day.
The pool is not open on Mondays, except for holiday Mondays, and Wednesdays. Pool hours are 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Hiking Trails
Babcock has over 20 miles of trails. The scenic overlooks are wonderful.

Horseback riding and pony rides for children are available at different times and lengths throughout the summer season. For online stable info: www.babcockstables.com
The summer park naturalist conducts nature tours, slide and movie presentations, special sport activities and get-togethers. You can also take part with young and old park visitors alike in nature interpretation programs and learn about the trees, ferns, wildflowers, and wildlife of the park.
