When making cabin reservations for four nights or more, a deposit of one-half the rental fee is required with the balance due upon arrival; the full rental fee is required for reservations of three nights or less.  If you make your reservation by telephone, you will have ten days in which to make payment unless it is a last-minute booking.  In case of cancellations, deposits will be returned (except for a $20 handling fee), if notice is given at least 30 days in advance.

Personal checks, money orders and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club) are accepted.

During the summer season (second Monday in June through Labor Day), the cabins are reserved for one to two week periods ONLY.  Otherwise cabins may be rented by the day, two-day weekend or longer.  Reservations may be amde up to a year in advance (from the first day in the month) and are recommended at all times.

Camping Policies:

Nearly 25% of the campsites at Babcock are available for reservations, while the remainder are rented on a first come, first served basis.  Reservations may be made by mail, phone, or in person up to seven days in advance and must be secured by payment of a deposit for the entire rental fee, plus a $5 handling charge.

Campsite numbers will not be guaranteed; however, every effort will be made to assign the campsite requested.

Reservations begin the Friday before Memorial Day and ends Labor Day.  Only mail-in reservations will be accepted from February 15-March 14.  Mail-in reservations must be postmarked on or after February 15, or they will be returned.  A maximum of three reservation forms per envelope will be accepted; any more and all requests will be returned.  You can also during this time call in for a form to be sent to you and to be mailed back to the park.

Download and print a campground reservation application.
Adobe Acrobat Reader required. Get Adobe Here.

Beginning March 15, phone reservations will be accepted between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Beginning April 1, walk-in reservation forms will be accepted from April 1 through the Labor Day Weekend.

Reserved campsites that are accessible to persons with disabilities will be held for such individuals to reserve from February 15-March 14.  Proof of disability must accompany the deposit, and the site must be occupied during the reservation period by the disabled individual.

A minimum of two nights, up to a maximum of 14 nights, is required when making a reservation.  Cancellations more than seven days in advance will receive a refund minus the handling fee and first nights rental.  Cancellations less than seven days in advance will receive no refund.
